In this Lesson
When we don’t know what we need - what’s most important to our growth, we accept what the outside world tells us we need and what’s most important to us. This begins in childhood before we even know we have a choice. If we have exceptional parents, they teach us how to connect to ourself, discover our needs, and do what we can to meet them. Those parents are exceptional because so many parents unconsciously project the lack of their own needs being met onto their children because that’s what their parents did to them.
When we don’t have a healthy, clear, and committed relationship with our values, you can be rest assured that the values driving our life are not our own. When we align our life with our deepest values, we begin to create conditions for true growth.
When plants have the nutrients, space, and structure they need, their roots can grow strong and healthy, allowing them to reach higher towards the light and express their boldest growth.
